Job description
We are currently looking for a talented and highly-motivated part-time/contract Worship Leader. If you’re passionate about leading others towards full-devotion to Jesus through worship music and creative arts, Grace might be the place for you. Fannett is approximately 12 miles outside of Beaumont, TX.
SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Work alongside the Lead Pastor in planning Sunday morning and special event Worship services (such as Christmas Eve and Nights of Worship).
· Arrange the weekly worship set and communicate with other band and tech team members.
· Conduct weekly rehearsals with band and tech team volunteers; usually Wednesday evenings/Sunday mornings.
· Ensure stage is ready prior to rehearsal and worship services.
· Ensure equipment is in good working order. Replacements or new purchases need to be coordinated with the Lead Pastor.
· Recruit and develop worship and tech team volunteers.
· Work with the Pastor to set the yearly worship budget.
· Expected hours: Between 5-10.
· Salary: Negotiable and based on experience, education, and availability.
