Audio/Visual Specialist

Position Scope: Elmbrook Church is a non-denominational, intergenerational, multi-site church excited about the life change possible in Christ. Elmbrook’s mission is to help members become Rooted in Jesus Christ and Released to His mission. The Audio/Visual Specialist reports to the Director of Production and plays a key role in the production of all worship services and events of Elmbrook Church.  The role assists in making sure that all aspects of the audio and visuals supporting the weekend service or event run smoothly and are at broadcast quality.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates the audio, video & streaming elements of all weekend services and events at Elmbrook Church
• Performs all proactive and reactive maintenance on all audio, video, and streaming equipment, or works with our vendors to facilitate.
• Troubleshoots all audio, video, and streaming issues
• Works and participates in the production of our weekend services and communicates via headset with the team
• Performs all post-production edits, uploads, and archives of our broadcast and video streaming footage
• Has a working knowledge of various computer programs including but not limited to ProTools, LiveStream Studio, Adobe Creative Suite, and ProPresenter.
• Recruits and develops fully engaged volunteers to work on the production team
• Schedules weekly volunteers for any audio, video or streaming positions via Planning Center
• Assists the Director of Production with other tasks like implementing new stage designs
• Participates in regularly scheduled staff meetings
• Reproduces your role in the lives of other key leaders

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in media live broadcast or related curriculum.
• Three or more years of professional experience working in church production, radio/video broadcast or live production environment, or similar work.
• Vital planning, and problem-solving skills with experience managing projects and delivering them on time and budget.
• Ability to readily adapt to change.

Employment Information:

This position is full time and classified as hourly, non-exempt

40 hours/week

Paid Time Off (PTO) – Full-time employees can earn PTO.  PTO is accrued on a calendar year basis.  Refer to the Staff Handbook for specific details. 

403b – Employees can participate in the 403b pension plan if they are scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week.  Entry dates for the 403b plan are the first of the month following the hire date.  Elmbrook will match up to 1% on an employee's first anniversary.

Holidays – Full-time employees are eligible for holiday pay.  Elmbrook Church recognizes ten holidays as paid holidays; refer to the Staff Handbook for specific details.
