Position: Pastor of Family Ministries
ABOUT LIVING HOPE BIBLE CHURCH:
Living Hope Bible Church exists by the grace of God for the glory of God and the good of people. We accomplish this by reaching and equipping all ages for a lifetime of following Jesus.
Living Hope is located in beautiful Boise, Idaho. Our church is blessed to be in a geographically advantageous location in the middle of several fast-growing areas: Meridian, Eagle, and Boise. People from all over the Treasure Valley (the greater Boise area) join together at Living Hope on Sundays for fellowship and the pursuit of becoming disciples of Jesus.
Living Hope has deep roots in the area and a long, faithful history of service to the Treasure Valley. We are intentional in our efforts to be a multi-generational church that loves and reaches all ages. We believe our best days are ahead of us as we continue to see God work in our congregation in new and exciting ways.
Living Hope’s DNA is found in expository preaching, passionate worship, doing life together, and impacting our community with the Gospel. These four tenets guide our church, what we value and how we do ministry.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
Philosophically, the Family Pastor at Living Hope Bible Church will oversee the staff, structures, systems, and atmosphere of family-related ministries to ensure that Living Hope is working together to make disciples of the next generation. He is an advocate for children and youth because these are the people who are the most vulnerable and least experienced in the Christian life. He is an advocate for the parents of the youth because they are in the greatest position to influence them. Additionally he is conscientious of the role that other mature believers play as they are an important part of the discipleship and mentoring of parents and young people. The Family Pastor seeks to provide continuity and connection throughout all family ministries by maintaining cohesion in content, curriculum, and focus.
Practically, the Family Pastor at Living Hope will lead and/or supervise all ministries from birth through 12th grade. Currently, the scope of our Family Ministry at Living Hope includes Children’s programming on Sunday morning, AWANA on Monday evenings, Middle and High School on Wednesday evening, and other annual events such as youth camps, family camp, family conferences, etc.
