Time Commitment
The Worship Pastor serves full-time (40 hours) during a week. The regular workdays for staff are Sunday – Thursday.

Qualifications
Spiritual
- A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a growing personal relationship with Him
- Commitment to moral and ethical purity
- A heart to share the gospel with all people and disciple Christians to maturity
- A Spirit-led life that exemplifies 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9
Professional
- College education
- Demonstrated excellence as a worship pastor/director/leader (min. 2 years experience)
- Ability to sing and lead contemporary worship with guitar/keyboard
- Skilled use of technology including all components/software for worship
- Pastoral experience characterized by empathy and a commitment to God’s Word
- Creative and musical ability
Personal
- Strong leadership, organization, and administration skills
- An enthusiastic stage presence for leading worship
- Positive experience and attitude in building relationships, developing leaders and leading successful teams
- Proven initiative and willingness to grow professionally
Responsibilities:
General
- Meet weekly with Lead Pastor and Pastoral Team to plan worship gatherings and teaching series
- Set and evaluate personal and ministry goals and objectives
- Teach/preach as assigned by the Lead Pastor
- Perform other duties as needed and assigned (i.e. student ministry, graphic design, discipleship, etc.) according to gifts, experience and interest
Worship
- Coordinate/lead worship for public worship gatherings and all churchwide meetings
- Lead in discipleship and pastoral care for all worship team members
- Plan and implement a leadership development plan for future worship team leaders
- Oversee all technical components and teams for public worship gatherings (vocal, instrumental, A/V, media, livestream, etc.)
- Recruit, develop and train Worship Team members (vocal and instrumental)
- Direct weekly rehearsals necessary to facilitate excellent worship experiences
- Oversee and ensure maintenance and care of all equipment utilized
- Evaluate and suggest equipment needs
- Manage worship/creative arts budget
