The Youth Director will serve as a spiritual servant and primary leader of the church's youth ministry, serving grades 7-12
- will be given opportunities, support, and training in developing into a Christ-like servant: faithful, available, and teachable.
- will assist in fulfilling the church’s responsibility for the discipleship and evangelism of youth among the church body.
- will help create and nurture a fun, engaging, and welcoming environment in which students experience a loving Christian community for themselves, learning how to live for God and His Kingdom in a non-Christian world.
- will lead and partner with volunteer adult leaders to plan ministry that builds disciples who love God and reach out to the un-churched.
- will help church leadership design a strategic plan for youth ministry for the next 1-3 years.
- will lead by example – being faithful, approachable, and caring.
- will maintain a prayerful approach to ministry
