Preschool Director

We are looking for our next Preschool Director to oversee the daily functions of Sonshine Preschool @ Hope Community Church in Reno, NV. The Sonshine Preschool Director is hired and directly responsible to the Family Pastor and secondarily to the Lead Pastor. The Director will oversee the entire daily activities of the school. This person will need to follow the mission/doctrinal statement of the church and ensure that the Hope Community Church’s spiritual and professional commitments to the community are met. The Director of Sonshine Preschool must be a Christ follower, possess a genuine love and concern for children, education, and have a desire to lead and care for the team of teachers and assistants.

A good fit for this position is someone who:

• Is administratively gifted
• Has at least 5 years experience in early childhood education or elementary education
• Has at least an Associate's Degree in early childhood education or a similar field relevant to the industry (or actively in pursuit)
• Loves children (and people in general)
• Loves to build and manage teams
• Is an attender of Hope Community Church (or committed to being upon employment) and an ambassador of Christ

Sonshine Preschool is a ministry of Hope Community Church. The Director position is a full-time, salaried position with the option for benefits. Rate of pay is dependent upon experience as well the potential need for benefits.
