CAMPUS PASTOR
Job Description
A Campus Pastor at Harvest Church is a high capacity leader who can gather and empower people, build teams, and develop leaders. Under the leadership of the Executive Campus Pastor, they will offer pastoral leadership to the congregation and community at
a particular location to ensure the vision, values, culture, and systems of Harvest Church are being reproduced effectively.
Qualifications
A Campus Pastor must be:

Responsibilities
The Campus Pastor will oversee the development of all spiritual and practical aspects of their assigned campus; establishing a growing, vibrant community of believers who share their faith with others. They are responsible to help establish Harvest Church’s
strategy and purpose in every function of ministry:
- Win the lost to Jesus
- Encounter them with the Holy Spirit
- Equip them as leaders
- Influence the world through sending and discipling
Responsibilities will also include:
- Pastoral care and discipleship (including campus Life Groups).
- Assimilation; encouraging people to complete Growth Track and serve in ministry at Harvest Church.
- Recruiting, developing, and resourcing campus ministry leaders.
- Establishing atmospheres conducive for vibrant worship services and Holy Spirit ministry.
- Public speaking and consistent reinforcement of Harvest Church’s culture.
- Engaging the local community in creative ways to be a blessing and reach new people.
- Problem solving and collaborating with Executive Campus Pastor and other Campus Pastors.
- Utilizing Harvest Church’s administrative resources and ensuring team leaders are utilizing the proper communication, training, and metric functions.
Reporting
- Campus Pastors report directly to the Executive Campus Pastor and will:
- Submit a weekly report
- Attend weekly staff meetings
- Attend monthly all-staff meetings
- Work through personal and campus growth plans as established by the Executive Campus Pastor.

Life Group Pastor
General Description
The Life Group Pastor is responsible for all aspects of ensuring people of Harvest Church are connecting with one another and building community through a strong, healthy, and growing small group ministry. This includes the development and execution of an
annual growth plan, group leader identification and recruitment, small group curriculum development, and ongoing leadership and coaching of group leaders at all Harvest Church campuses.
Essential Job Functions
- Lead a team in the development and growth of a strong small group ministry fostering community involvement and spiritual growth.
- Develop and maintain an annual plan that ensures continuous improvement and growth of small group involvement across all Harvest Church campuses.
- Implement regular team leader and small group participant recruitment methods and processes ensuring a healthy small group growth rate over time.
- Plan and execute regular small group connection events as a means of bridging the gap between attraction environments (Sunday) and deepening environments (small groups).
- Function as the overall leader of all small groups, coaching small group leaders in the successful completion of their duties and responsibilities.
- Foster a strong, active, growth, and recruiting-focused network of small group leaders, group members, and individuals interested in becoming part of the church’s small group ministry.
- Plan and execute regular small group leader training and recognition events, ensuring the existence of a healthy body of small group leaders upon which to grow a strong small group ministry.
- Create promotional materials and methods that ensure everyone at the church is aware of the small group’s ministry area, its purpose and importance, and how to get connected.
- Identify, develop, and/or select small group curriculum and other small group study materials and tools.
- Drive and coordinate periodic study series/corporate small group pushes as part of the church’s weekend services/sermon series planning and design processes.
- Function as a member of the church’s pastoral staff performing baptism services, weddings, funerals, etc.
- Assist in the development of an annual departmental budget and manage spending to budget.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
