Student Pastor Associate

YOU WOULD HATE THIS PLACE. We are looking for a Student Pastor Associate who would do this job for free if they were able, just because they love students. We have an unrealistic desire for our students to challenge us as a church in the areas of service, character, and worship. We would expect you to spend time investing in the lives of students in their own environments... school campuses, coffee shops, malls, sporting events, the beach, or wherever they hang out. We would hope that you would laugh at our cheesy jokes in staff and really enjoy the time we spend together. We would want you to do everything with a sense of excellence as if it were for the Lord. We want you to be so invested in the lives of our students that it compels you to look them in the eyes and call them to life-change because you see so much potential inside of them that it keeps you up at night. We want your heart to be broken over students. It would be a real bummer to work here!

WHY YOU WOULD HATE THIS CHURCH: Our leaders do their best but still make mistakes. Messed up people come to Christ almost weekly and we have to walk with them through the process of life change. Nobody has a reserved parking spot or seat. Everyone calls each other by their first name. Ministry involvement is expected of those who call this place home. You would hate it here...

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead High School and Middle School Students in the Sunday night TC3.Student service. 
• Lead our Middle School Ministry on Sunday mornings with excellence.
• Give direction to the style of worship and programming for our Student Ministry. 
• Work alongside the Student Pastor and TC3.Student team to plan the Sunday night Student service. 
• Recruit and develop Student Ministry serve team. 
• Develop and disciple emerging students and student leaders
• Work alongside the Student Pastor to create TC3.Student budget and research as it pertains to our Student Ministry. 
• Develop relationships in the community with schools and organizations in order to build bridges into student culture. 
• Assist the Student Pastor in planning and organizing events, camps and conferences.
• Communicate with parents any and all relevant information pertaining to the Student Ministry. 
• Attend all events, camps and conferences directed by the Student Pastor
