Job Description:
Word of Grace is a non-denominational church in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin that has been making an eternal impact in our community for 35 years. Our vision is to love God, love people, and make disciples. We are gospel centered, Bible anchored, and discipleship driven.  We are a very healthy, thriving, and growing church with a weekly average attendance of 450.

Our Lead Pastor, Stephen Maris, has been a pastor on staff in our church for almost 10 years, but he was appointed as the Lead in June of 2021. Our staff is a family. Call it cliche if you want, but we all genuinely love AND like each other. If you've been in ministry very long at all, chances are that you've witnessed or experienced an environment where that's not the case. So we guard our staff culture jealously. We are excited to add another significant contributor to our team, but also another loved member to our staff family, and ultimately our church family. Our staff is a strong team dynamic. We believe in getting the right people in the right seats, empowering them to be successful with their goals and mission, and collaborating to offer support and encouragement. Our ideal candidate will need to be capable of being driven when "playing by themselves" and excited to "play well with others" also.

Although our church is thriving in so many ways, one area that has been a consistent weakness for several years is the church's youth ministry. So our new Youth Pastor will be someone who is excited about building from the ground up and driven to move the ministry forward. We are looking for the right person who is passionate about students, someone who likes teenagers and wants to spend time with them building relationships and discipling them.  We are praying that God would bring us someone who loves Jesus, is highly relational, personally driven, and committed to sound biblical teaching.

Sheboygan County is a wonderful place to live! Located right on Lake Michigan, it is abundant in both natural beauty and is a hub for world-class amenities for people of all backgrounds and recreational interests.  To watch a brief video about our beautiful and unique community follow this link: https://www.sheboygancounty.com/spotlight-url.
