Eastmont Baptist Church is looking for its next Youth Pastor. Our desire is for someone with a passion for Bible teaching, building relationships, and reaching the lost. The ideal candidate will be able work well in a Servant Leadership model and work alongside a staff with the same heart and mind. EBC is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention and the Northwest Baptist Convention. We have an established Spanish-speaking ministry.
Wenatchee is nestled in the Wenatchee Valley of North Central Washington. We are located at the foothills of the Cascade mountain range which separates us from Seattle and city life. Skiing, hiking, and fishing are all nearby and abundant. Wenatchee is noted for its four seasons and being a wonderful place to raise a family. EBC is home to a youthful and motivated staff with a high degree of camaraderie, and are looking to add this next crucial role. We are a gospel-centered staff who is seeking to carry the mission of Jesus Christ wherever he leads us.
Our worship department leads us in a genuine time of worship every Sunday. We currently have one service at 10:30 in a large and spacious sanctuary. We have a contemporary worship style and a unified body in regards to fellowship, with typical worship service lasts about 75 minutes.
Our congregation and youth group is excited to be meeting again in person and is eager to add a driven and compassionate person to lead our youth in the coming years. Effective ministry to youth and families. The Youth Pastor will work to see youth and families become fully committed followers of Jesus in obedience, service, and outreach. The Youth Pastor will provide oversight to related ministries as they come alongside parents to disciple their children to follow Christ and invite others to follow Christ as well.
* Build relationships with the youth of East Wenatchee and surrounding communities
* Develop, oversee, and train all levels of leadership within the Youth Ministries, including adult volunteers, Youth Interns, and student leadership.
* Strategize and implement effective outreach to Non-Eastmont Baptist Youth & families.
* Cast vision, communicate the philosophy of ministry and implement structure and strategy of the Youth Ministry.
* Represent Youth Ministry well to the staff, congregation, local schools, and community
* Oversee all aspects of Youth Ministries: Youth & Small Groups, Discipleship, camps, and mission trips.
* Work with Children’s Ministry to strategize, develop, and facilitate an effective discipleship plan from birth through 12th grade, with careful thought towards a plan to disciple parents as they raise their children.
* If suitably gifted, the youth pastor could be asked to fill the pulpit intermittently.
* Assist other staff as needed and participate in staff meetings, retreats, business meetings, etc.
Qualifications:
The salary range for this position is between 47k-55k depending on experience and education.
