Tequesta First Baptist Church (TFBC) is a neighborhood church in South Florida where anyone can take a next step in Jesus. We are currently seeking someone who is a builder/leader who desires to be used by God as our
Kids Ministry Director. This individual will have a heart to reach kids and families for our
Tequesta, FL campus. We are looking for a leader to come reach our neighborhood with us!
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work with Next Generation Team to develop and execute overall Kids ministry vision
- Recruit, screen, and train volunteers as Kids Team members
- Responsible for on-going shepherding, care and nurturing of Kids Team members
- Prepare and distribute monthly volunteer schedule
- Responsible for Pre-school area of TFBC campus
- Order, prepare and share curriculum and supplies with Kids Team members
- Maintain regular, effective communication with parents and/or leaders regarding any pertinent news or updates
- Determine childcare needs and ensure coverage is maintained by qualified workers
- Assist in planning and executing special events
- Work collaboratively with other church leaders to accomplish overall TFBC vision
- Lead a kid’s ministry that reaches the whole family
Required Qualifications:
- Affirm TFBC statements of belief and practices as codified in our organizational bylaws and detailed in the Baptist Faith and Message confessional statement of 2000
- Maintain a close and healthy walk with the Lord Jesus Christ
- Maintain a high standard of excellence and moral character
- Ministry degree or demonstrated Kids ministry experience
- Heart for reaching/teaching Kids
- Spiritual gifts of Administration, Teaching, Shepherding and/or Leadership
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Time management/prioritization skills
- Coordination/scheduling skills
