We are looking for a pastor to join our growing team - who will specifically focus on our Sunday morning services. A good candidate is someone who is spiritually mature, a comfortable and natural worship leader, a gifted musician and who is fluent in the various components of a weekly worship service. An ideal candidate would also possess either theological training or ministry experience and could support other growing areas of our church with their leadership. This person will be responsible for overseeing the entire worship ministry, the A/V team, live-streaming, and would be instrumental in planning out the flow of Sunday mornings in partnership with the Lead Pastor. This position can be part time or full time depending on a candidates skill set and ministry gifting.
Oregon City Evangelical Church is a growing suburban church roughly consisting of 250-300 regular attenders/members. Our church is over 125 years old and while we have a rich history we are looking ahead to an even more promising future. Our church is in the midst of an exciting time of renewal as we are seeking to live out a new vision and to completely restructure the way we reach people and minister to them. OCEC believes strongly that every member plays a vital role in God’s kingdom work, and desires to equip every believer to live in community on mission for Jesus in their everyday lives. Above all things, we are in process. As God works in the life of our church, who we are is ever-changing. But so far we are changed. We all have different stories but we all share one thing in common, we are being transformed by Jesus.
