Job Description:

Contemporary Worship Director

Cedar Bayou Grace Methodist Church, located in in Baytown, Texas (eastern metropolitan Houston) has an immediate opening for a full-time Contemporary Worship Director.  Serving a rapidly growing community with three distinct worship experiences has allowed Cedar Bayou Grace to continue to grow throughout the COVID pandemic.

The Contemporary Worship Director will oversee The Experience (10 am) and the Contemporary Worship Gathering (11:15 am).  The third worship experience is a traditional worship (8:30 am) and is under the direction of the Traditional Worship Leader.

The Experience is a worship gathering designed with young families in mind.  The Experience was launched five years ago with our unique strategy to engage and equip families, and we have continued to experience growth each year.  We are looking for a Contemporary Worship Director who can help us continue that trajectory of growth and can provide new, creative elements to this worship experience.

Our contemporary worship gathering is ready to be reimagined and we are looking for an energetic and creative leader who can help give shape and identity to this segment of our worshipping community.

If God has given you the energy and calling to be both a builder and a planter this job is for you!

Please send your resume and a link (or file) that demonstrates your ability to design and lead a worship gathering to pastorkaren@cedarbayougrace.org by April 25th at noon.
