Production Director

Centerpoint Church is seeking a creative and passionate leader to serve as our production director. The production director uses creativity and technology to help spread the message of Christ with excellence. The ideal candidate should be a gifted team leader who is proficient in mixing live audio, creating lighting designs, running pro presenter, and coordinating multiple cameras for online broadcasts.

We are located in the heart of Georgia only a few hours away from the beach or the mountains. Our church is vibrant and full of young families as well as people from all ages and backgrounds. Our style is casual and fun. We get things while having flexible work hours. People who visit love our southern hospitality. We serve cheese grits on Sunday and have a phenomenal specialty coffee bar. Our church is only 12 years old and continues to grow and thrive each year!

Goal: To use media and technology to help spread the message of Christ with excellence. The ideal candidate would lead our production booth team on Sunday which oversees live mixing, lighting, cameras, screens, and online media. 

Requirements:

• Familiar with running all elements of live production in a modern church service.
• High-level Team leadership ability

Responsibilities:

• Build and train a production team to navigate service lighting, cameras, screens, and online media.
• Schedule team members to serve in each area on Sundays and during special events.
• Raise up other leaders in all areas of production and technology.
• Serve as primary day to day manager for production equipment. Trouble shoot equipment when needed. Update equipment when needed.
• Produce online services to multiple streaming platforms. Upload sermons to website and app after services.
• Help troubleshoot I.T. issues.
• Keep website and app updated with current information.

Team leaders at Centerpoint:

1. Enlist -  Share the vision to help people understand the part they can play in the story. Usually, one on one, face to face recruiting is most effective.

2. Equip - Meet with your team at least once a month. Communicate details often. Make sure they have good tools. Model culture. Reproduce yourself.

3. Encourage - Recognize, reward, give shoutouts, cards, texts…Pray with them. Also encourage them to show up, be on time, use good judgement, etc.

4. Empower - give them authority to oversee parts of the ministry. Let them schedule, organize, make decisions, solve problems. If they make a mistake, that’s ok. Help them.
