About Dripping Springs, Texas!

Dripping Springs is located just 25 minutes west of Downtown Austin and known as the “Gateway to the Hill Country.” It’s a charming and rapidly growing little big town full of award winning schools, spectacular natural wonders, unique shopping, eclectic live music venues, and some of the best barbecue in Texas.

One of the best things about Dripping Springs is the strong sense of family and community pride. People love being together. And people love where they live!

This sleepy little hill country town has experienced an unbelievable boom over the last few years, driven by all the things that make Drip great. The school district is projected to double within the next few years. In one corner of the district, 3 elementary schools exist within 3 miles of one another. With the growth comes a strong need for life-giving churches. So, just over two years ago, we started one!

Starting a church is really hard work, but we are passionate about our friends and neighbors getting to know Jesus Christ and being transformed by his love. We know that God is up to something special through Life Dripping Springs!

Ready to Have Some Fun?

Two years in and we’ve seen God do some pretty amazing things in Dripping Springs. We started in a middle school, spent 4 months in a wedding venue during the pandemic, and currently meet in a movie theater. Currently, between 600-700 people worship weekly at Life Dripping Springs.

God has blown us away! We were able to purchase 10 beautiful acres in the Hill Country, right next to a new elementary school. The property is gorgeous and full of heritage oaks. We have contracted an architect and builder, and plan on breaking ground on a campus that will minister to 2000 people weekly.

We’re passionate about the next generation, and believe that with the right leadership, there is potential to grow a ministry to reach hundreds of students in Dripping Springs. We’re looking for a dynamic leader that can build a strong team, rally students to wholeheartedly follow Jesus Christ, and make a difference with their lives. We also believe that student ministry should be full throttle fun! And the absolute best student ministries build a strong model for parent involvement.

Dream BIG

Because we’re dreaming big! We’re just not looking for average student ministry. We are believing BIG for a great leader to dream up creative and transformational programming in our community and reach musicians, athletes, scholars, creatives, techies and cowboys. We’re looking for an adventurist approach to student ministry that is anything but boring. The budget to fuel this type of ministry is there, so dream it up and let’s go!

This job description is meant to be general in nature.  Specific duties may be required that are not mentioned.  Teamwork is a core value of LifeAustin and it is important to continue in that spirit.  As our Church and ministry grows, other responsibilities may be required and added.
