Southland Baptist Temple is seeking a full time Children's Pastor/Director to work alongside of our staff to lead, develop, and disciple in the area of our children.
1. The candidate is to have a team approach with evangelism and discipleship in the core of his/her DNA.
2. The candidate will be responsible for the vision of the children's program and aligning it with the mission of the church.
3. The candidate will lead all aspects of the program to keep the Children's ministry a vibrant part of the church and its mission.
4. The candidate will be in agreement with the Doctrine of the church and will teach accordingly.
5. The ideal candidate will have a degree from an accredited college and preferably some seminary training.
6. The ideal candidate will be married.
7. The candidate will be an ordained minister or be willing to be ordained if applicable.
8. The candidate will have a passion for children to grow in Christ and a heart for the lost.
9. The candidate will be able to give a clear testimony of his salvation and calling to Children's Ministry.
10. The candidate will live a life of integrity and moral christian character.
