established, vibrant church of 7,000 in the Phoenix metro area.

This is fantastic opportunity to lead a strong communications team that is fully resourced in a thriving, established church in one of the fastest growing major metropolitan areas in the country. The city of Chandler is known for its vibrant downtown tree lined square, phenomenal dining, countless parks and trails along with 330 days of sunshine every year. The greater Phoenix Metro area is the 5th largest in the country with 4.5 million residents.
The church has prioritized and invested well in the communications and marketing space, making it integral to the overall success of the organization. The right next Communication Director will be walking in with talented team already putting out great work.
Cornerstone Christian Fellowship is a large, established bible teaching, multi site church of 7,000 with locations in Chandler and Scottsdale, East Valley Suburbs of Phoenix. The church has been committed to being A Church Where People Gather To Find Real Answers For More Life. The next Communications Director will be a member of the Creative Department Leadership Team and will enjoy a strong working relationship with the Creative Arts Director of Operations, Jaime Gratzl. The existing communications department staff include Graphic Designers, Copy Writers, Web Architects, Filmmakers and Social Media Specialists. The right candidate will already be a thought leader in these disciplines, able to take a strong team even further.
The tools that the next Communications Director will inherit are strong. The feel of the organizational brand is current, vibrant and engaging. The strategies engaged by the team highlight a commitment to meeting people where they are at and inviting them to take the next step in their faith journey. The right next leader will need to be an established, winning coach, who’s not afraid to jump back in the middle of the game, if needed. Someone integrated and experienced in the strategy of external marketing and internal communications. That will be the key.

A Strategic Marketer – The ideal candidate will be someone that that can dream up new and innovative ways for the organization to expand their digital reach.
A Brand Protector – The ideal candidate will be someone who relishes protecting the voice and brand of the organization.
A Best Practices Ninja – The ideal candidate will be someone who has had agency level experience and exposure. They will naturally listen to and learn from thought leaders and industry innovators as they guide the creators on their own team.
