- Media Director – The Primary responsibility of the Media Director is to oversee the leadership of the worship production teams and media teams to help to mobilize the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ on all media platforms. The medium
of media has a great opportunity of connecting a lost world with the message of Jesus and at Vertical Church we take this very seriously.
- This position currently reports to the Lead Pastor
- This position works closely with the rest of the staff and leadership team,
- This position leads and oversees all media team servant leaders for worship production along with photography/videography.
- Insert self into existing Media Ministry
- Develop necessary skills to become moderately proficient in all areas of production
- Take over video capturing and editing
- Create social media content strategy (Videos)
- Asses and Connect with Media Team
- Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Media/Production strategies for development, training, and leadership development.
- Oversee all production during worship services/recording and events. (Audio, Video, Computer Graphics, Lighting, and Photography)
- Partner with Worship Director, Musicians, Vocalist to develop plans and strategies for ongoing worship service improvement.
- Establish standards of operations for all Production Teams.
- Recruit, Develop, and Evaluate the Media and Production Team of volunteers.
- Oversee the scheduling for all teams.
- Oversee annual budget for Media/ Production.
- Purchase and Maintain all equipment for media and production.
- Oversee Recording, Editing, and Uploading Sermons on web platforms
- Strategize for content creation for Social Media minimum 2 Videos a week.
- Key Performance Indicators - The Media Director will be evaluated on the following areas.
- Growth of the number servant leaders and their development.
- Recruit and train servant leaders
- Strategy of continual development
- The quality , consistency and timeliness of posting of services and sermons.
- Services and sermons edited and posted promptly.
- The quality,consistency, and frequency of social media videos created 2-3 week.
- Creation of the social media videos
- Short clips of worship, sermon, clips,and engagement invitation
- Overall engagement of the Vertical Mission and Vision.
- A growing relationship with Jesus Christ in light of the Gospel
- Possess a servant's heart and strong passion to support the work of Vertical Church.
- Dependable
- Attitude of constant improvement.
- Experience in leading and building a team of volunteers.
- Comfortable and proficient in working with a variety of audio, video, media, and lighting equipment.
- Huge team player with strong communication skills.
- Proficient in ProPresenter, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, or comparable editing software.
- Able to work in a rapidly changing environment.
- Strong work ethic with a “get it done” mentality.
- You are a planner and can manage projects.
- Excited to find new ways to reach the world for Jesus.

- Thursday Rehearsals
- All other hours editing, planning, meeting, leading,
- Leadership Meeting 1st Monday evening of every month 7:00pm (Mandatory)
- Monthly 1-on-1 (Mandatory)
- Weekly Staff Meeting Tuesday @1:30pm (flexible)
