Purpose Statement:
The Creative Arts Director facilitates a skillful, passionate, life giving culture of worship at SeaCoast through full and part time staff. In addition, they are responsible for working with the Senior pastors and executive team on series and weekend service
development, special event planning and coordination.
Reports to:
Executive Pastor of Ministries
Experience and Knowledge Required:
- Minimum of 3 years leading in a local church
- Ability to handle multiple projects effectively
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn and use Shelby, Planning Center, Asana and Ableton
- Proficiency in voice and an instrument
- Ability to work with and develop a strong team
- Ability to create, coordinate and lead a worship experience with a team
- 4-year college degree
- Ability to read and write music
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and implementation of the music and worship experience at SeaCoast
- Assist in the training and coordination of SeaCoast Worship vocal/band teams
- Assist in the care of team members
- Maintain accurate and up to date information on planning center
- Be a spearhead for SeaCoast original music in writing and recording
- Help develop creative ideas and elements for special service, conferences and other events
- Oversee the coordination of Worship Nights
- Work closely with Tech Department
- Conduct research at other large churches regarding their approach in all aspects of their weekend service
- Coordinate with other ministry department leads
- Give final approval for all videos/print pieces for the weekend
- All other duties as assigned
Work Schedule:
Regular office hours Tuesday – Friday, all main campus services, hours as needed
