Position: Frontline Student Ministry Pastor
Reports to: Executive Pastor
Direct Reports: Interns/Volunteers
Objective: To lead an effective and dynamic student ministry of 6th through 12th grade students for all Zero Collective churches.
Spiritual Gifts Needed: Serving; Giving; Encouraging; Exhorting; Teaching; Shepherding
Part Time: Full Time, Benefit Eligible
Position Overview:
The position is two-fold. First, to develop and lead an effective and dynamic student ministry of 6th through 12th graders that results in new and returning students accepting Christ and becoming fully devoted followers of Jesus for
the rest of their lives at Frontline Community Church. Second, to lead all Zero Collective student ministry pastors toward a common vision and goal.

- Maintains a healthy and vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ that includes the consistent practice of the spiritual disciplines
- Maintains a reputation of unquestioned integrity
- Required to be a Covenant Member of Frontline Community Church-abiding by all the expectations inherent with that
- Consistently seeks to help fulfill the stated mission of Frontline Community Church of Reaching, Connecting and Sending
- Be teachable, respectful, humble and willing to be held accountable

Professional Qualifications:
- Strong administrative, organizational and computer skills
- A track record of being able to recruit, develop and manage leaders and volunteers
- Be a self-starter with drive, passion and initiative
- Excellent relational skills
- Ability to communicate a vision and rally individuals to see a preferred future of ministry
- Demonstrate strong leadership and ability to set and achieve goals
- A proven track record of effective youth leadership. Minimum 3 years experience in leading a student/youth ministry
- Innovative thinker
- Bachelor’s degree in Christian Leadership, Youth Ministry/Discipleship or related field preferred
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute biblically accurate, culturally relevant, and high energy services for students
- Meet with Executive Pastor bi-weekly
- Meet monthly with other Zero Collective Student Ministry Pastors to coordinate ministry and cast vision
- Recruit, train, equip and hold accountable a team of small group leaders consistently and effectively to lead students as they take next steps in their faith journey with Jesus Christ
- Effectively communicate with parents regarding student ministry
- Oversee and evaluate the weekly program needs of student ministry
- Attend annual summer camp with students 6th – 12th grade
- Create and manage a ministry calendar that will drive the activities and teaching of the student ministry
- Develop and disciple a group of student leaders
- Assist in the annual budget planning for Student Ministries
- Design, plan and conduct periodic parent meetings in order to meet the needs and expectations of families of students at Frontline
- Pursue and oversee serving opportunities for students 6th – 12th grade for worship services
- Attend staff and department head meetings and retreats as requested
- Participate in regular worship services by preaching/strategic vision casting as requested
- Be accessible to Frontline congregation before and after worship services
- Plan and execute a quarterly Ministry Action Plan (MAP) with both short term and long term goals
