Title: Online Production Director
Classification: Non-exempt, Hourly
Hours: Part Time Up to 25 Hours per week
Reports To: Creative Pastor
In conjunction with the broader Crosspoint Church Team, the Production Director at Crosspoint Church creates a high-quality, meaningful and authentic video experience that engages an increasing number of people online through the Crosspoint Online Campus
and Crosspoint On-site campus experiences. The Production Director must have a saving faith in Jesus Christ and a strong passion for carrying out the mission and values of Crosspoint Church.
FLSA: This role could be a part-time salaried position or adapted to function as a contracted position working onsite and remotely. An onsite role is preferred. Estimated 20 - 25 hours per week (perhaps more during the orientation period).
Online Service Responsibilities
- Film and edit weekly worship services for the Crosspoint Church online campus.
- Each service will consist of Video Host segment, song segments, teaching segments, etc. totaling ~40-45 minutes each week
- Pre-production scheduling, planning and writing of scripts for CNEWS or special segments.
- Record content mid-week.
- Post-production editing to produce final product for review by Friday 12:00pm CT.
- Produce other video content to support promotional strategies and online campus classes as needed.
- Collaborate with staff to support and enhance the online service experience.
- Work alongside Worship and Production Teams to create a dynamic, impactful experience
- Recruit and develop a team of volunteers to shoot and edit projects
- Support the creation of video/photo content for social media
On-Site Service Responsibilities
- Live Production
- Train, schedule, evaluate, and lead a volunteer-based team in technical roles
- Run point in all weekend service Audio needs (primary A1)
- Responsible to develop, review and test all video and media shown at Crosspoint
- Oversee the capture, playback and LiveStream processes at Crosspoint
- Implement and test full back-up system for message playback
- Capture and posting of all sermons; manage archival processes of the weekend and recorded media
- Maintain video production technology and equipment at Crosspoint
Miscellaneous Duties
- Foster a shared Crosspoint Church standardized experience and workflow throughout both campuses
- Participate in the creative process for series development, weekend review and planning meetings
- Manage video budget
- Perform regular maintenance and upgrades to existing equipment
- Make recommendations and provide clear direction for future spaces and upgrades
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, and earned degrees and/or other training that has equipped them for the duties of the role
- Two years of proven video expertise experience
- Experience with ProPresenter, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premier, Ross Video components, AJA routers, networking; and Google Office Suite
- Ability to manage budget
- Demonstrates spiritual maturity and character consistent with the Biblical requirements for church leadership
- Effective interpersonal and relational skills; proficiency in communication skills, both verbal and written
- Self-motivated, self-directed requiring minimal supervision
- Teamwork orientation with ability to recruit, train, lead and motivate others
- Agrees and aligns with the vision, values, pathway, leadership distinctives, and doctrinal statement of Crosspoint Church
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
