Job Description:
The purpose of this full-time pastoral position is to provide leadership and vision for our youth ministry. This person will lead by example, committing themselves fully to the vision and the future of FBC Mabank.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
To diligently maintain a growing walk with the Lord by connecting with God, with each other, and with the world.
To maintain a team perspective by having a positive attitude, bringing a level of excellence to everything we do.  
To work cooperatively and cheerfully with the Senior pastor.
To run weekly youth services, plan and execute activities (including Camp, DNow, & Mission trips), disciple and build relationships with students, recruit and train leaders, raise awareness and support for youth missions, and to support families in raising Godly students.
Carefully plan and manage the Youth Ministry budgets 
Other duties as required.
To use God-given gifts to help fulfill the mission of FBC Mabank.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
Two years of experience is preferred.
Gifted and called to youth ministry, loves young people, and has a passion for evangelism and outreach, both personally and at the ministry level
Organized, prepared, punctual, proactive, self-starter with a positive attitude.
Self-motivated and able to work without close supervision; flexible to changes in procedures and/or direction. 
Possesses strong computer skills & familiarity with social media tools and their use for ministering to youth.
Has basic experience working with AV, multimedia, tech and presentation software.

We are a Southern Baptist Church located in the heart of Mabank, TX and the center of community in the Mabank ISD. We are a church of 200+ with two Sunday morning worship services (traditional & contemporary). We are transitioning with our community from an agricultural area to more of a bedroom (commuter) community to Dallas. We exist to connect people to Christ by making disciples who make disciples. We accomplish this task through a variety of ministries inside & outside of the church. Within 10 miles of our church are 37000+ people with the vast majority are unchurched or de-churched and we seek to reach them for Christ.
