- Oversee the children’s ministries of Williams Lake Church (birth-5th grade)
- Children’s ministry leadership recruitment and training
- Learning Center Liaison
- Parental support and communication
- Providing pastoral care to children and their families
Children’s Ministries at Williams Lake Church
- Sunday morning and Sunday night
- Wednesday night
- Children’s Ministry Events
- Special Events (e.g., Eggstravaganza, Trunk or Treat, Vacation Bible School)
- District Events (e.g., Retreats, Summer Camps)
- Children’s Musicals
Leadership Recruitment and Training
- NazSafe certification/background checks (with Youth Pastor)
- Volunteer scheduling and development
- Children’s Ministry lea
- dership team
- Intergenerational mentorship development
Learning Center Liaison
- Chapel Services; Praise and Worship
- Special Events (e.g., Graduation, Christmas, Subs and Superheroes)
Communication and Connection
- Clear, two-way communication with children and parents (re: events, concerns, etc.)
- Attending kids’ events (i.e., plays, concerts, sporting events)
- Maintaining social media presence for children’s ministries
- Work in concert with student ministries
Pastoral Care
- Hospital Calls
- Relationship Building (children and parents)
- Mentorship and Spiritual Guidance
Other Responsibilities
- Maintenance of children’s ministry facilities and equipment
- Preaching (at least once a year)
- Support of other staff (as needed)
- Other duties as assigned
