Glad Tidings Church in Lake Charles Louisiana is seeking to hire a Worship Pastor.
The Worship Pastor will model a Spirit-filled life of full devotion to Christ in every area of his/her life (spiritual, emotional, relational, financial, physical) so that he/she may provide authentic pastoral leadership.
The Worship Pastor will facilitate a growing environment of authentic, Spirit-empowered worshipers. This role is upfront and highly visible, therefore, the Worship Pastor must have strong communication gifts and represent the church as a minister. The role requires a creative shepherding approach off-stage to raise up and develop teammates and leaders who understand the heart of worship.

SCOPE OF MINISTRY POSITION:
The Worship Pastor will be responsible for the planning, coordinating, and overseeing of the Worship and Music Ministry, with a goal of making disciples and creating excellent, Spirit-led worship experiences.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EXPERIENCE:
7 years experience in a church music leadership position with emphasis on directing a contemporary praise team (full orchestra and choir is preferred).
