Christ Community Church is a vibrant church in Beatrice, which is in the Southeast corner of Nebraska. We are a nondenominational church that is passionate about growing the kingdom of God in this part of Nebraska and beyond. The population of Beatrice is 12,000 and is just 40 minutes from the state capital of Lincoln. This is Cornhusker country and we are a short 45 minutes away from Memorial Stadium.
This is an amazing position because the ministry is already very strong and waiting for a leader to take over and make it his own. This pastor needs to have a servant’s heart to serve Christ and His church. He will lead worship every Sunday. He will serve as the primary administrator of the worship and creative arts ministries of the church. He will be responsible for the planning, leading, organizing, conducting, and evaluating of our comprehensive creative arts ministry. The purposes of the position are to facilitate an atmosphere in which God is worshipped and glorified and the church body is built up.
Here is what is waiting for you.
Opportunity
We have many strong ministries waiting to be led by the right person at CCC. Opportunity waits for a leader to bring their skillset and passion to help people to worship our great God. Worship is at the heart of everything that we do. Corporate worship has a special place in worship and our people love to sing.
Influence
We are looking for someone that will influence not just our church, but also the community. In smaller communities, everyone pitches in to help to make it a great place to live. Our hope is that we can hire a worship pastor that will first take great care of CCC but will also use their talents to influence the community for God.
Impact
We currently have one worship team that consists of a total of 20 people that rotate on a planned schedule. Our choir has 30 voices and is like a family of its own. We gave a children’s program “AWANA” where worship is taught as well as a production done once a year. These are some of the areas that can be impacted with the proper leadership and vision.
Our Church
We believe our great God has given us the ministry of reconciliation. We do this by sharing the Gospel whenever we have the opportunity. As people come to trust Jesus as their Savior, we are passionate about teaching them to love Him and to each other.
God has given us His Word to direct us on how to live our lives. He also gives us Himself as His Spirit teaches us how to grow in grace and in the knowledge of Him. At CCC, we are one big family who loves to help and serve each other in a way that only a family can.
CCC has been ministering to Beatrice and Southeast Nebraska for 30 years. Our mission statement and passion is to “Carry Christ to the Community.”
