Director of Children’s Ministries
Simonton Community Church
Purpose: To impact lives for the Kingdom of God through Simonton Community
Church, especially through our Children’s Ministry.
Ministry Responsibilities:
1. To oversee and manage the entire Children’s Ministry, which includes everyone from birth through 6th grade.
2. To develop and implement a strong ministry based on the Word of God that impacts the lives of children and their families.
3. To build a strong leadership team and dedicated volunteers.
4. To plan and schedule all of the ministries related to the Children’s Ministry, including nursery, children, and pre-teen.
5. To manage the resources and budget for Children’s Ministry according to principles given to all staff members.
6. To operate a Biblically-based and professional Children’s Ministry that integrates with the overall ministry of this church.
7. To foster strong relationships with the children and their families, while being the face of this ministry.
8. To reach out into our communities building relationships that will draw families to Christ and the church.
Other Responsibilities:
1. To be involved in all church staff duties, including attendance at meetings and various functions.
2. To discover what additional gifts and abilities the Lord has given you and use those for His glory in this church.
3. To actively include your family in the life and ministries of Simonton Community Church.
4. To professionally handle all other duties as assigned by the Pastor.
Qualifications:
1. Must be a Christian currently walking faithfully with the Lord.
2. Must be in theological agreement with the church constitution.
3. Married, never divorced
4. Male and Female candidates will be considered.
5. No overseas candidates

This could be a part-time or full-time position depending on the availibility and qualificaitons of the right candidate. Pay will be fair and allow the candidate to live and work in our area.
