Job Description:
The Systems Director will serve at our Norcross Campus coordinating, operating, and providing technical support for services, classes, and special events.
 
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
  • Oversee all technical projects in alignment with organizations' goals.
  • Directing the effective delivery of networks, development, data systems, and processes.
  • Create and establishes Production SOPs for audio/video/lighting ("A?V?L") equipment.
  • Provide technical support to all ministries.
  • Serves as department backup for A?V?L positions as needed.
  • Develop, design, and maintain websites at Technical Director's discretion.
NETWORK
  • Manage, configures, and directs all network switches and equipment implemented by production.
  • Collaborates with IT Department on coordinated implementation of production equipment.
  • Oversee, engineer, and maintain Production Data Servers (Digital Signage, Livestream, Controllers, Projectors, etc.)
  • Implement and manage Production network policies.
  • Maximize network performance by monitoring and troubleshooting network problems.
MASTER CONTROL
  • Oversee and troubleshoot A?V?L systems to ensure proper functionality for weekend services. 
  • Monitor all campus technical gear to ensure performance quality, connectivity, and efficiency.
ACQUISITION AND DEVELOPMENT
  • Research and analyze organizational needs for weekly service production experiences.
  • Handles all software and hardware upgrades for production systems.
  • Responsible for purchasing Production IT equipment.
DIGITAL CONTENT DELIVERY
  • Manages and supports all campus' digital signage systems. (Digital Communication and Information, Directional Signage, Cafe Menus, etc.)
  • Develop and execute delivery of live and recorded broadcast streams to all digital platforms.
HARDWARE INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE
  • Handles installation of all production rack equipment, and other production equipment including but not limited to, fixtures, consoles, switchers, servers, etc.
  • Planning and implementation of hardware/equipment upgrades including 3D drawings.

Skills/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology
  • 5+ years of video and/or production training and experience or equivalent required.
  • Working knowledge of large-scale church productions, and the implementation process for live and recorded events.
  • Experience in a multi-operation system environment preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience working with coding languages.
  • Able to do physical activity, including lifting, pulling, bending, carrying, and pushing equipment as needed to set up activities and events.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25lbs.
  • Experience in Apple and Microsoft software environments.
  • Reliable transportation to travel to campuses
  • Flexible schedule (available weekends and evenings)
