This position reports to: Greenville Campus Pastor

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Bring Inspiration to the Vision of Seacoast Worship to your Campus
Carry out the vision of the Worship Pastor of Seacoast Church by leading the Campus Worship Team
Encourage and coach staff at weekly campus meeting to be engaged in worship during services by providing background on the vision and culture of Seacoast Worship
Primary Worship Leader
Create face to face moments with God through worship and strive to make every weekend experience one that people want to repeat
Partner with Campus Pastor and Central Worship Pastor to develop the theme and song selection that delivers a God-inspired worship experience consistent with weekly teaching
Set Planning
Prayerfully and purposefully plan worship sets, at least two weeks in advance, that consider the message series and response set up while remaining flexible for inspired changes
Plan weekly set list chosen from the songs on “The List”; prepare in a way to know not only your part, but the parts of each team member, select songs that best fit the service/event/opportunity; Test the key the song will be sung in; set your team up for a successful weekend/event by providing appropriate resources at least two weeks in advance
Conduct ongoing research and submit new and upcoming songs to the Central Worship Pastor to be considered for “The List”
Lead the Weekend Experience, First Wednesday, and special events in worship that reflect the system and experience desired at Seacoast
Event set up / tear down for worship area
Oversee all A/V tech for campus, recruiting Dream Team as needed
Program projection: Make sure lyrics, songs, backgrounds and slides are loaded into ProPresenter
Program Lighting – Set up lighting cues within program for entire service
Equipment and Cable Prep: Ensure all equipment is ready and instruments are prepped for tech volunteers
Lead tech team meeting before each weekend service, meet with campus pastor, tech, and worship to discuss service flow and create effective transitions
Ensure food is available for Dream Team for weekend services (if applicable)
Weekend Post Service Activities: clean up green room and platform, Debrief with Campus pastor, and report tech issues to Central Tech team
Lead worship for special events including, but not limited to; Christmas and Easter services, conferences, All-Staff meetings, weddings and funerals, and other outside events as margin allows


Team Leader
Meet weekly with Campus Pastor for mentoring and development.
Recruit, lead, and develop a worship team of employees and volunteers inspired to achieve their goals, advance the mission of Seacoast, and provide avenues of spiritual growth for church attendees
Organize weekly Family Tree gatherings that build unity and challenge deeper spiritual development
Connect one-on-one with team members to encourage and support them
Host regular auditions as needed
Organize weekly campus rehearsals and provide constructive feedback for improvements; Memorize music so teams are free to worship and platform is free of clutter; Organize final Run-Thru focusing on start and end times
Attend weekly phone calls with all Campus Worship Leaders and Central Worship Pastor; monthly 1on1 with Central Worship Pastor; and quarterly Weekend Experience call
Lead campus with comprehensive knowledge in Planning Center, our primary mode of communication and scheduling with teams
Schedule worship and tech teams at least a month in advance for services and events
For each service/event, create service flow to reflect all elements/transitions
Create set list per service/event needs at least two weeks in advance
Participate in quarterly musician and vocal workshops


Administrative Duties
Partner with Campus Pastor to create Worship Team budget and steward wisely the worship resources in alignment with annual budget
Monthly credit card reconciliation in Nexonia, tracking all purchases with receipt documentation
Monitor musician hours and approve all hours each pay period in Paycom; or report independent contractor hours through Nexonia

At least 2 years of relevant experience leading worship team required
Exceptional musical/vocal talent
Demonstrated spiritual gift to serve others in team environment
Ability to recruit, lead, and train musicians, worship leaders, and vocalists
A critical ear and the ability to both give and receive candid feedback
