Calvary Worship Center is a dynamic Spirit-filled church in Colorado Springs, CO. We are currently searching for an experienced Audio Director (AD) to become a part of our team.
This position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects audio & visual ministry. While there are many tasks to be done, the AD's job is to ensure that services and events across all facilities and all ministries are able to utilize technology
efficiently, effectively, and strategically in order to enhance the experience of those attending. The AD will report directly to and work closely with the Worship Director.
The ultimate goal of this position is to glorify Jesus by carrying out the mission of the church!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- WEEKEND SERVICES / EVENTS:
- Maintain a reliable system for providing technical support for all worship services and events.
- Audio mixing, monitor mixing, and audio recording
- Lighting production
- Live streaming production
- Prepare stage for rehearsals, worship services, and events
- Initiate successful communication with Worship Director, ministry pastors/leaders/overseers, and event coordinators in order to help facilitate Audio needs.
- RECRUITMENT / TRAINING / DISCIPLESHIP:
- Recruit AD volunteers for events and services.
- Train AD volunteers to competence.
- Equip AD volunteers with the proper tools.
- Deploy AD volunteers to appropriate tasks.
- Disciple AD volunteers in the way of everlasting
3. UPDATING & MAINTENANCE:
- Ensure that campus technologies are in working order.
- Advise on future purchases.
- Oversee any technical installation.
- Keep reliable records for purchases and licensing.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- PURSUE A CHRIST-HONORING LIFESTYLE:
- AD should be investing in their spiritual growth, both privately and in community with the Worship Ministry of Calvary Worship Center.
- AD will protect the unity of the team and the church by committing to model Christ-like relationships and to pursue conflict resolution in a Christ-honoring manner (Matthew 18:15-17).
- Humility is a synonym to leadership. In conjunction with James 4:6 - “…God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” The AD is called to walk uprightly in humility with a teachable spirit/heart.
- Servant Heart — The AD must pursue & seek after a heart of service.
Ephesians 6:7 - “Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people” - We believe “a heart that serves Jesus, is a heart that worships Jesus”.
- EXPERTISE / SKILL:
- The AD must be proficiently skilled in all technical areas of running sound and lighting. End of the day - we want the sound and lighting to be excellent for the glory of Jesus and edification of our church! EQ-ing & mixing is an absolute essential
skill for this position.
- Continuing education is vital to grow in the area/craft of running sound and lighting.
