Worship Leader

Goal:

To lead people in a life changing encounter with God through faithful Spirit led worship, with excellence, passion, and courage.

Mission Critical Responsibilities:

• Proactively communicate, support and fulfill the vision, values, purposes, and goals of the church.
• Consistently maintain open and frequent communications with the church staff, volunteers, team leaders, and church members.

Worship Leader Responsibilities:

• Work with the Worship Pastor to schedule bands and worship team members, maintain worship materials, and lead all band rehearsals for your scheduled campus or environment.
• Give input and help with other church worship environments.
• Collaborate with Worship Pastor to create the total worship experience.
• Lead in recruiting and assimilating new musicians and vocalists.
• Develop/Coach musicians and vocalists.
• Participate in the Creative Process such as, song selection and other creative service elements.
• Work with Creative team to give spiritual oversight to the worship teams and band.
• Assist in leading in the student worship environments.
• Attend weekly Crossroads Church Staff Meetings.
• Be willing to speak publicly and pastor during worship experiences.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Lead Pastor.
• Honor God and Crossroads Church with a servant heart lived out in job, ministry, and lifestyle.
• Maintain 20-hour work week.

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

• Fluent in leading from an instrument
• Networking skills
