Summary of Position

Summary of the position: The Creative Director’s primary purpose is to lead the Creative Team in order to design the weekend worship experience of Faith Family Church along with the Worship Pastor and Technical Director. The Creative Director also serves to improve the organization’s communication efforts internally and externally through the Communications Director and he or she will be responsible for initiating marketing and social media strategies and timelines for services, special events, and conferences. He or she will serve in any way directed by the Lead Pastor / Co-Pastor.

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Creative Team:

 

      1. Lead and coordinate all creative team/production meetings which include: Worship Pastor, Technical Director, Music Director, and Communications Director.
      2. Assist Lead Pastor in creativity for all series, messages, and conferences.
      3. Serve as creative liaison with other FFC ministry leads, to increase innovation, excellence, and quality within all ministries. 
      4. Connect with departments about potential stories of life change.
      5. Coordinate all special video projects.
      6. Communicate with Yellowbox Media.
      7. Direct the Events decor team. 

 

  • Sunday Worship Experience

 

      1. Along with the Worship Pastor, design all worship experiences and service rundowns.
      2. Lead service coordinator to ensure all services run smoothly.
      3. Lead Stage Team that ensures the stage is set properly for ministry.
      4. Lead Dream Team that assists in photography for social media and acquiring stories.

 

  • Communications and Marketing

 

    1. Understand the FFC brand, support it and improve it through all media.
    2. Coordinate all marketing efforts (internal and external) along with the Communications Director.  

 

Experience and Knowledge Required

    • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with good decision-making skills.
    • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to work as a team player and discuss needs, challenges and ideas.
    • Ability to think ahead, anticipate needs and offer creative solutions.
    • Experience promoting a brand or organization with social media (Including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter) 
    • Writing and editing experience
    • General knowledge of design concepts with a pulse for current trends and techniques
    • Ability to storyboard or translate ideas to others and develop innovative solutions.
    • Must have strong presentation skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to lead and problem-solve with limited supervision yet effectively communicate with staff and volunteers.
    • Willingness to work in and understand the intricacies of a ministry-conscious environment.
    • Strong team player that is organized, enthusiastic and enjoys people.
