Summary: Olive Baptist Church is seeking an Information Technologies Manager to lead the technology efforts of a growing and dynamic church in Pensacola, FL. This role is a key component in executing the ministries at one of the largest
Southern Baptist Churches in the country. Our outreach is internal, regional, national and global. Olive has a fun and engaging culture that encourages personal and career growth.
This position has the overall responsibility of overseeing the network infrastructure including servers, switches, computers, software, databases and websites.
Details
- Manage and maintain servers in a HyperV Environment.
- Configure and monitor backups both locally and cloud based.
- Manage on premise Active Directory
- Configure and maintain Meraki MX Firewalls
- Configure and maintain Meraki MR Access Points
- Support medium sized network consisting of multiple VLans and multiple locations
- Support multiple IIS applications
- Support a hosted SQL database and Content Management application.
- Work in a Microsoft Office365 environment with Exchange online.
- Manage department annual budget, plan for software and hardware upgrades and purchases.
- Evaluate current and future vendors.
- Provide support for Avaya VIOP phone system
- Provide support for Bosch CCTV system
- Provide support to Velocity Access Control
- Provide Technical support for the various software and services used by the church
- Develop Strategy plans to advance technology
- Help inventory and maintain all technical equipment across all campuses
- Assist in team development and volunteer training
- Provide documentation for the network and server infrastructure
Qualifications

- Advanced experience supporting windows applications, servers and networks.
- A team player who is flexible, understands and supports the vision of the church, policies and procedures
- Strong work ethic, self-motivated, dependable, reliable, passionate about technical arts creativity and excellence which will impact lives for the Kingdom of Christ
- Authentic and consistent in his/her own spiritual walk and relationships
- Extensive knowledge in or certifications in:
- Network Management (CCNA preferred)
- Managing Windows domain
- Active Directory
- Windows Server Hyper V
- Office 365
- VLan technology
- NCSA or NCSE Certification preferred
