This is a senior staff level leadership position with responsibility to develop, guide and engage people in authentic, dynamic worship as part of the vision of Living Faith to bring glory to God.

- A church on Long Island in the metro NYC area where less than 3% of the population are evangelical Christians, yet hundreds visit each year and people come to Christ every week.
- A church family with a big vision to reach people for the glory of God! In the past decade, we have grown from 500 people on a small property to a healthy, multi-generational, multi-ethnic congregation with a weekly attendance of 1,600+ on a campus just
over 8 acres in size.

- A leader with experience coordinating choir, worship teams, bands, and technical teams in a medium to large church environment.

Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the Worship Ministry at Living Faith
- Work directly with the Senior Pastor to develop biblical, passionate, thematic worship and prayer experiences
- Plan and execute weekly services to lead the congregation into God’s presence
- Cultivate a healthy worship team community through discipling and care for over 100 volunteers currently part of worship ministry
- Provide leadership and direction for all worship services and rehearsals
- Recruit, develop, and schedule band, praise team, choir members and technical staff
- Responsible for vision and staffing worship programming for children and other ministry areas
- Planning and execution of music and worship for special services, productions, and events
- Develop and oversee annual Worship Ministry equipment and event budgets
- Supervise part-time worship and technical staff
- Serve on senior staff with additional responsibilities as requested and ministry opportunities as desired
Requirements
- Personal relationship with Christ, biblical baptism, and call to ministry
- Agreement with the doctrine and vision of Living Faith Christian Church
- Passionate about engaging and leading people in authentic worship of the living God
- Personal lifestyle and family life reflective of a strong commitment to Christ
- Solid biblical foundation and knowledge of theology of worship
- Formal education, training, and knowledge of creative, dynamic worship models
- Degree in music or worship preferred
- Training and proficiency in vocal, instrumental, and technical aspects of worship environments (audio, video, etc.)
- Experience directing a worship ministry that includes band, praise team, choir, and technical teams
- Experience leading worship ministry in a church of 300+ attendance preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Planning Center and ProPresenter
Compensation & Benefits
Living Faith is committed to the care of those who serve as part of their staff team. This senior level position comes with a salary and benefits package reflective of the position and cost of living in the metro N.Y. area. Compensation is commensurate with
the education, training, and experience of the candidate.
