Scottsdale Bible Church’s (SBC) main campus is located on Shea Boulevard in beautiful Scottsdale Arizona. Scottsdale is annually rated among the nation’s most desirable communities in which to live, visit, and conduct business. God has faithfully grown SBC from a humble beginning of 13 people in 1962 to more than 6500 meeting weekly on three campuses. With plans to start other multi-site campuses in the coming years, we continue to press forward to take the message of Jesus into our communities throughout the Valley!

The Campus Worship Pastor is an influential member of our SBC Worship Team. You will serve joyfully and collaboratively alongside our worship music directors, musicians, and pastors to help maintain a consistent experience inside the various venues. You will be instrumental in aligning campus events with the campus worship team to create an environment where SBC’s Mission and Vision are effectively carried out.

Your Duties and Responsibilities as Campus Worship Pastor Include:

• Provide worship leadership for weekly worship gatherings and all-church events
• Act as program director for services in order to ensure excellence in programming
• Create service flow for worship gathering (worship, message, creative expressions, baptisms, communion)
• Responsible for integrating creative elements into worship services (art, design, media, video, etc.)
• Assemble multiple worship teams (bands, vocalists, etc.) by recruiting, auditioning, and placement
• Select and arrange music to meet the needs of the individual congregation
• Recruit, train, mentor and mobilize creative team volunteers
• Participate in worship team meetings
• Committed to leading worship team volunteers toward spiritual health and integrity
• Pray for and maintain regular communication with worship volunteers

 Personal Qualifications You Will Possess to Be Successful:

• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-environment with frequent interruptions
• Ability to prioritize competing tasks and requests
• Thrives working independently and in a team environment
• Fully committed follower of Christ and agrees with Scottsdale Bible Church’s Statement of Faith
• Member of Scottsdale Bible Church, or willing to become a member
• Demonstrated relational skills including being approachable and accessible
• Aspires to serve others
• Ability to discern needs and respond appropriately 

Additional Competencies and Experience:

You will be most successful when leading from an authentic and relational approach. SBC will be your “home” church. You must demonstrate proficiency as a worship leader and musician in a contemporary environment, while having the ability to lean into other stylistic directions. Working knowledge of basic computer software (Microsoft suite) and ProPresenter is required.
