ABOUT ELEVATE

Elevate Church is a large, non-denominational, ARC church plant in Erie, PA that exists to see people far from God reach their full potential in Jesus.  At Elevate, we desire to take people on a journey to know God, find freedom, discover purpose, and make a difference. In our first 8 years, Elevate has grown to see 1700 attenders each weekend as us gearing up for a state of the art building project that will increase our ability to reach more and more people for Christ. 

 
JOB OVERVIEW

The Visual Media Specialist will work within our Creative Team to produce excellent, engaging visual media, including graphic design and video content, for Elevate Church events, series, and other ministry projects.

As a Visual Media Specialist, you’ll be part of a team of staff and volunteer creatives responsible for service production, filmmaking, digital content development, design, photography, and much more.

We’re looking for someone who loves collaboration, has a passion for visual communication, and dreams of building the local church with their creative abilities.

You Are...

• A crazy-talented creative with healthy leadership skills
• Someone who understands the difference between effective visual media and cool visual media
• Skilled in digital and print media design principles, layout and typography, camera equipment and settings, composition, and natural and studio lighting
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and must be able to work independently to meet deadlines.
• An organization master who loves clear search terms, keywords, and folder labels
• Someone who pays attention to details and takes great pride in your work
• A great collaborator who works well in a team environment and has strong interpersonal skills
• Someone who craves feedback and hunger to grow in your creative abilities as part of a collaborative team
• Someone who thinks about how to get better with each and every project

You Will Be...

• Serving teams across the organization to fulfill design and video needs for new digital, web, mobile app, social media, and print projects,
• Designing series graphics and bumper videos.
• Making simple updates to the Elevate Church website and app.
• Part of the team capturing and editing weekend service video
• Filming, editing, and producing short videos for social media.
• Creating designs for public advertisement through local media or social media advertising.
• Working with our Production Team using current video/broadcast equipment to achieve high quality video messages for web posting and broadcast.
• Leading and resourcing volunteers at Elevate Church.

Would Rock If You...

• Have used DaVinci Resolve for editing and/or color grading
• You have experience in, or are very interested in learning, After Effects, Photography, and Live Video production.
• You’re not only okay with, but expect occasional workplace shenanigans

• Model biblical community in his relationships (Matt 5:23-24, Matt 18:15-17, Eph 4:25-32).
• Model biblical family life before the body (Eph 5:22-6:4).
• Model biblical integrity in all things (1 Tim 6:11-12).
