Campus Life is YFC’s relational ministry strategy for delivering the Gospel to a high school or middle school campus. The campus is our mission field. The strategy utilizes a team of adult volunteers, who under the direction of the Youth For Christ staff, create non-Christian friendly programming. The weekly ministry includes a weekly large group (club), contacting, building times (hanging out with kids in a variety of activities), appointments, small groups, student leadership, trips and events. Similar to a large local church youth ministry but with a much more diverse student population. High school clubs typically meet at an off-campus site near the school at night and middle school clubs meet on campus before the first bell.
Campus Life’s goal is always to have a majority of unchurched students. This creates the culture that we desire to provide. Campus Life’s approach can best be described as relational and conversational. YFC/Campus Life staff are on their campus literally every day of the week. Lunchroom visits, attending ballgames and hanging out around campus before and after school are mainstays in our strategy. We go where students are and build trusting relationships.
The staff's role is to exemplify the type of authentic Christ-sharing relationships we want to build and recruit a team of volunteers, typically college age, to implement Campus Life at a high school and it's feeder middle school.
We seek a strong leader who can connect with parents, school administrators, business leaders and churches. So the maturity to build relationships with adults is essential. We seek a candidate with two years or more in fulltime youth ministry or other similar experience. Opportunities for training and career advancement are provided.

Every day at thousands of community centers, high schools, middle schools, juvenile institutions, coffee shops, and local hangouts, YFC staff and volunteers meet with young people who need Jesus. Our focus as a movement is on multiplying fruitful and sustainable ministry sites across the nation and around the world.
