The College/Single Adult Pastor is responsible for ensuring all aspects of spiritual growth and development of college-aged adults that attend Arcade Church. This includes leadership for all programming, teaching, events, and management in support of the overall vision, mission, and purpose of Arcade Church.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Lead a team of volunteers in the creation and implementation of pursuing the vision for Arcade Church within the College/Single Adult ministries.
2. Plan and execute biblically accurate, culturally relevant, and high attraction teaching.
3. Create and plan a calendar that will encompass all of the programming needs of the ministry to fulfill the vision of Arcade Church.
4. Cast Arcade’s vision from the Lead Pastor to direct reports and volunteers.
5. Hold weekly volunteer meetings for lead team to communicate the vision and motivate and inspire volunteers.
6. Display a shepherd’s heart to the students and leaders throughout the week for the purpose of making disciple-makers.
7. Develop, prepare and launch an adaptation of the disciple-making path of Arcade Church for the students and adults within the sphere of this ministry. This will include: spiritual formation activities, opportunities for internships, in depth Bible study, etc.
8. Have a consistent presence on college campuses surrounding Arcade Church.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
10.Work in collaboration with the other staff and ministries of Arcade.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree preferably in, but not exclusive to, biblical studies, ministry, or a similar discipline. The successful person in this position will be a strong leader with a solid work ethic, possessing a passion to reach the college/young adults of the Sacramento area.
