Ontario Christian Fellowship is looking for a YOUTH PASTOR to join the team as we Enjoy God, Equip believers and Engage the world.

The Youth Pastor will work with diligence to raise up the next generation as followers of Jesus. The position requires a high-energy, responsible, organized disciple of Christ that has excellent communication skills, a great attitude, a good work ethic, and is excited about reaching children and teens with the truth of Jesus! Core responsibilities of this role are: leading our team of over 100 committed volunteers, overseeing regular Sunday and Wednesday kids and youth ministries, and planning events for children, families and teens.

Key tasks:

Oversee OCF Youth Ministry

• Recruit, screen, train and disciple volunteer leaders who invest in the lives of OCF Youth
• Plan regular programming on Sundays and Wednesdays
• Supervise Children’s Ministry (working with the Director of Children’s Ministry)
• Choose curriculum
• Maintain calendars and scheduling
• Communicate well with parents and other ministry staff

Required abilities:

• Deep love for Christ, his Word and the church
• Enjoys working with youth
• Thrives in a collaborative, team environment
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and results-driven
• Proficiency with planning and organizing
• Passion for serving, learning and leading
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
• Experience in youth/children’s ministry
