Connections Community Church is looking for a qualified person to oversees the teams and processes for turning guests into fully-functioning members.
Ministry Responsibilities
- Oversee Guest Services (traffic, greeters, ushers, cafe, and follow-up teams), including supporting team leaders and helping to both recruit and train volunteers.
- Oversee the small groups ministry, including identifying and training group leaders, building the number of group participants, and championing small groups to the church family.
- Oversee the processes for helping people find volunteer opportunities in the church that match their interests, abilities and availability.
- Teaching at weekend worship services on an occasional basis.
Qualifications
- Education: An undergraduate degree in a related field is preferred. A graduate degree and leadership or management training is helpful.
- Experience: Past success in church leadership, preferably in related areas.
- Character: Showing a strong personal commitment to following Christ. Emotionally aware and mature. Possessing qualities in keeping with senior level church leadership as outlined in 1st Timothy 3 and Titus
1.
- Personal traits: A self-starter with a strong work ethic, a good problem-solver, a positive attitude and “get it done” mindset, a demonstrable passion for building a vibrant Christian community, excellent
relational skills, public speaking and teaching skills.
