Job Description:

We’re getting ready to launch our church plant in the next few months and are looking for a Pastor of Outreach and Connection to help provide leadership and develop plans for our outreach, team structure, marketing and communication.

If you’re a team-builder who really enjoys thinking through strategies from conception to implementation, we’d love to talk to you. We need you to help us dream how to reach and connect to our community, and to help us determine and implement our plan to help people become a part of our new church from first-time visit to active participation.

We are looking for someone who is creative in leading people to faith, and someone that has a heartbeat for evangelism and reaching people through personal relationships, corporate outreach, and a culture centered on evangelism and discipleship.

One of your primary roles will be ‘people-gatherer’, gathering and supporting a team that will help grow our church plant ideas into actual reality.  You’ll operate as our ‘extrovert on fire’ by meeting new people in the community, as well as overseeing our assimilation process, from first-time visitors to active participant. And while your main role will be in the areas of outreach and connection, you’ll help implement plans for church-wide ministry teams as well by being our key networker-at-larger, recruiter, and team builder. You’ll also spearhead our community relations, marketing, and communications.

You’ll need to become a part of our Boone County, Kentucky community (about 15 miles from Cincinnati, OH).  We’re looking for someone who is spiritually mature, humble yet bold… and someone who, despite their own wounds, is spiritually broken and therefore willing to take real risks because they have a big Christ, to take this church plant from our current plans to reality.

We’re Christ-centered, gospel-driven, grace-centered, Spirit-filled, discipleship-focused, mission-oriented, and community-engaged. We consider ourselves ‘theologically rich’ and ‘spiritually deep’.

This is a high-level, paid full-time position. If this resonates with you, we’d love to talk.  Send your resume, cover letter, and why you’d like to be a part of our team to Dan at pastor.search@northpointeky.org.
