About Christian Life Center
Since our beginning in 1968, Christian Life Center (formerly called Northwest Assembly) has been a place that has taken bold steps to reach our community. Our largest campus sits on Little York Road located on the north side of Dayton, Ohio. Lead Pastor, Stan Tharp, has been at CLC since 1983 and serving in this role since 1990. Our church is fueled by the God-Sized Vision. This vision has led us to relocate, build/expand facilities, go multi-site, and plant churches in places across the globe, like Africa and Turkey. Locally, we impact our communities by empowering congregants to reach out to others in their community and we take part in transforming the urban Dayton area by partnering with inner-city churches and ministries.
We are a church of approximately 2,500 and are affiliated with the General Council of the Assemblies of God; however, believers from many denominations call CLC home. CLC is about sharing God’s love, God’s word, and God’s resources in practical and tangible ways. The leadership is leaned into engaging millennials and know that our future depends on engaging the current and next generation.
