JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a worship leader who will help carry out the vision of the senior pastor to create a contagious worship experience that passionately worships Jesus, transforms lives, and transcends cultures.
Church Description: Life Changers International Church exists to see people of all cultures changed forever by the gospel of jesus Christ, united by the love of the Father; and empowered by the Holy Spirit to find their place in the family of God and their purpose in the world.
We are a contemporary, multi-cultural church that began in an elementary school in 1993, and now spreads around the Chicago area through multi-sites and around the world through television & media. Our vision is to cover the earth with the love of God through local churches, leadership training and media expansion.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Primary Worship Leader and Chief Musician
•Plan, organize, and lead multiple worship experiences
•Assist with planning and execution of new services and experiences including different formats and forms of musical and creative expression
•Continued development of gifts and skills and a heart of a life-long learner
• Develop all Worship & Creative Arts Teams within the church
•Work closely with the pastoral team and Creative Arts Team to develop themes and integrate the various creative elements into a cohesive message that supports the sermon series and other vital areas of church life
•Recruit, train and encourage and ensure the spiritual care of all teams to Develop and disciple a team of volunteer assistants to lead various ministries
•Oversee application/interview of new volunteers for Worship & Creative Arts Teams
* Conduct monthly meetings and team training as needed
•Able to plan and budget for various ministries
•Oversee Technical Ministries/Director
•Ensure communication and coordination between the Worship & Creative Arts and the Technical Ministries
•Supervise maintenance and acquisition of music and technology equipment
•Participate in overall duties as part of pastoral team including weekly staff meetings o Weekly responsibilities as needed in other areas
•Coordinate worship teams and musical elements for weekend services and other church events wherever music is needed
•Work with the Experience Producer to lead the worship encounter and develop worship teams
•Recruit, train, and sustain volunteers for worship bands
•Recruit & develop a team of worship leaders, singers & musicians
•Lead or coordinate worship rehearsals
•Coordinate the worship lyrics / songs website operated through planningcenteronline.com
•Participate in Worship Design Team meetings
•Coordinate music concerts featuring relevant artists to be hosted by Life Changers Church

•Has a servant spirit with the stamina to lead worship in multiple weekly services
•Possesses the passion and calling to serve in a growing visionary church making global impact
•Degree is desire
•3-5 years experience leading worship and working with volunteers in a church environment
•lead and mentor musicians, vocalists and all other creative arts volunteers including drama, video, sound and lighting
