Rock Bridge Calhoun Children’s Ministry Position

The Calhoun Children’s minister is a full time position that will report to the Calhoun Campus Pastor and work with our Central Staff Children’s Ministry team to oversee all children’s ministry programming for children through 5^th grades. The Calhoun Campus averages 600 in weekly attendance with 175 children.

The minimum requirements and skills to be considered for this position are:

Preferred:

• At least 2 years of staff experience in a similar size children’s ministry role with significant leadership responsibility (average of 150-200 children per weekend).

Required.

• Active and growing relationship with Jesus Christ; evidenced by action, attitude, speech & behavior.
• A passion for children's ministry and to see families grow in their faith together.
• Experience in recruiting, motivating, equipping and spiritually leading volunteer leaders to minister to children & families.
• Experience in executing total children's ministry programming.
• Effective communication skills (written, verbal & interpersonal).
• Demonstrated ability to understand and relate to children and their families.
