The Family Pastor is responsible for the oversight of Higher Ground (children’s ministry) and Student Ministries (both Middle School and Senior High).
The Family Pastor will lead, encourage, and shepherd the teams who will be ministering in all of the areas for which he has oversight.
Regarding Higher Ground, his responsibilities will include:
ü Administration
ü Vision Casting
ü Strategic Planning
ü Volunteer recruiting
ü Curriculum review and approval
ü Special Events
ü Budget
Regarding Student Ministries, his responsibilities will include:
ü Administration
ü Vision Casting
ü Strategic Planning
ü Volunteer recruiting
ü Curriculum review and approval
ü Special Events
ü Retreats
ü Budget
Family Unit responsibilities:
ü Communication of all relevant information
ü Periodic meeting with parent groups
ü Periodic meeting with individual parents
ü Other duties as assigned
The Family Pastor will serve as part of our Ministry Leadership Team. Responsibilities relating to this will include:
ü Regular attendance at weekly meeting
ü Presentation of updates regarding his ministry areas
ü Participation in leadership development for himself and the team.
