New Walk Church is a Pastor led church with a big vision. We were sponsored by a Baptist group but function as non-denomination in our approach. We are a church plant that started in 2006. We currently meet in a YMCA gymnasium that we fully and radically convert into a 500-seat church each and every weekend for 4 church services (one Saturday night & 3 Sunday). We are currently averaging 1300 in attendance with multiple high days of over 3000. Our church has purchased property that we plan to build on in the near future. There are also plans to add at least one satellite campus by Fall 2013. Our vision is to reach young families with dynamic, contemporary worship music in our services. Our church is highly sold out for reaching the lost in this community.
We are also seeking possibly one additional Worship Leader and a Student Ministry Worship Leader at this time. Those responsiblities differ than the ones below but some candidates may have this opportunity within our church.
Some examples of what is required in this job:
1. Lead Worship at 4 services at our main campus each weekend which includes a rotation of musicians that are compensated and 2-3 deep on some intruments.
2. Desire to be a Professional Worship Leader.
3. Find, advertise, recruit and audition musicians for Main Campus, youth services, potentially 2 other satellite campuses within the year.
4. Maintain a high level of excellence on stage(no musician may utilize a music stand on stage).
5. Develop and Implement all aspects of Worship Arts, Stage Designs, Creative Team and Creative Worship Elements.
6. Function as part of the Leadership Team.
7. Maintain a lifestyle that is beyond reproach.
8. Set up and Tear down all sound equipment and gear each weekend.
9. Ability to understand and even produce Mulit-Media a plus but not required.
