Atmosphere Church is a newer church in Thousand Oaks, California (west of LA and close to Malibu). Our launch date was September 16, 2018. Even though our church is non-denominational, we are connected to three church networks (Association Of Related Churches [ARC], Valley Bible Fellowship [Bakersfield/Las Vegas], and Brave Church [San Ramon, CA].
Our Vision:
We are very passionate about the local church. We fully believe and have experienced first-hand, that the local church is and will always be the HOPE of the world. Yet, for many communities, the church at large has become irrelevant and ineffective in reaching their community with the FAITH, HOPE, and LOVE of Christ. We fully believe that the local church is to be a bright light, shining through all of life’s darkness, bringing Heaven to earth, and changing the atmosphere of this world. We believe this happens by making LOVE the supreme virtue, living that out through outrageous acts of love to people in the church, in our community. and around the world.
We believe Jesus gave the church a dual calling.
-The church is to be a TRAINING center to help people DISCOVER THEIR PURPOSE and show them how to MAKE A DIFFERENCE in this world.
-However, the church is also to be a TRAUMA center to help hurting and broken people FIND FREEDOM and HEALING through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
We see a new beginning for the Conejo Valley. We believe that God is raising up a movement to change the atmosphere in the Conejo Valley by bringing more heaven to this Valley. We will do this by providing life-giving services and love-driven outreaches.
