The Barn Church, located in Grass Valley, CA, in the beautiful foothills of the Sierra Nevadas, exists to grow a community of disciples with lives built on the firm foundation of Jesus Christ and his saving power. Our Sunday morning gathering includes about 80 regular participants of all ages, including many families with young children. Because we deeply value fellowship and we desire to be a tightly-knit community of people seeking Jesus together, we share a potluck meal each week immediately after the service, and many of our members are active in weeknight small groups.
Our intent is to grow a community of deep discipleship in which each of us, with the help and through the power of the Holy Spirit and in fellowship with one another, lives as Jesus taught his followers to live. We desire for each member of our congregation to participate in the Kingdom of God by loving him wholeheartedly, loving one another authentically, and studying the Bible expectantly, and we are seeking a lead pastor to join with our team of elders in pursuing that vision.
