Berean Baptist Church is a multigenerational congregation with a rich history in Northeast Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Our Sunday morning worship services are a blended worship style featuring hymns and contemporary worship songs. Our average attendance on a Sunday morning is 150 comprised of all age groups from young children to senior adults. We are conservative in theology and church practices, but desire to stay on mission by being Kingdom first…it’s all about Jesus.
Berean is a church that deeply loves sharing the Hope of Jesus by making followers of Jesus. This is evident in the deep love for missions and the generous giving of our congregation. We partner with BBFI Missions as well as support other independent missionaries. Berean is actively reaching out to our community through partnerships with our local schools and by packing snack packs for food-insecure children leading toward evangelistic outreach.
Our main building was built in 1968 but has been remodeled extensively in the past few years. Our facilities are debt-free and include a 200-seat main sanctuary, gymnasium, kitchen, fellowship hall, multiple classrooms, as well as two apartments used to house missionaries and guest speakers. We also own the adjoining plot of land which is vacant except for the leased income-generating space for a cellular tower. Berean has approximately 6 acres of land.
