About the Church:
Friendship Baptist Church is a 33-year-old, intermediate size conservative Southern Baptist Church located in a growing area of Houston County, GA. We average approximately 265 in two Sunday morning worship services. We teach and preach core Bible truths using Scripture to back up what we teach. We are strongly committed to missions locally, nationally, and internationally. Friendship enjoys a blended music worship style with multiple instruments. Our staff enjoys a very low turnover rate.
About the Community:
Houston County, with an ever-growing population of nearly 170,000, is located in Central Georgia convenient to I-75. We are home to the second largest museum in the United States Air Force, and Robins Air Force Base is the largest industrial complex in Georgia. Robins AFB is also supported by a number of technology and aerospace firms. We boast one of the best public school systems in the southeast and a broad network of institutions of higher learning. Houston County schools outperform state and national test averages and have earned numerous state and national awards for outstanding achievements. We are also home to the Georgia National Fairgrounds, and the Southeast Region Little League Ball Park.
