The Vineyard Church of Stafford/Sugar Land is in the southwest side of the Houston Metropolitan Area. We began with a desire to impact our community with the love of God in Christ and through the power of the Holy Spirit. The Vineyard Church was founded by the former National Director of Vineyard USA, Berten Waggoner, in 1994.
We exist to be a community of God's extravagant love where people are drawn into a thriving relationship with Jesus.
We are committed to journeying together in faith and mission, not by enforcing conformity but by nurturing discovery in community. Our gatherings are characterized by a commitment to the exploration of Scripture through reasoned and relevant proclamation, the ministry of the Holy Spirit, and experiencing God in the sacramental expressions of shared life together … Word, Spirit, & Sacrament.
We are missionally committed to sharing our faith locally and globally through missions partnerships and through justice and compassion. This includes engaging issues of racism and inequality through hands on service and advocacy.
